Funny video instructing first time Autocrosser.
I always send my Autocross videos to my friend Mike. Mike an old time Go-Kart champion, thought it would be easy to do. So I let him drive my Corvette under my instructing. I never worked so hard to keep someone on the track. With his permission, here's the blooper video. Mike did manage to get in one lap without going off track.

He's a good sport to let you post it.
I remember years back when you instructed me, and I just could not get the entry angle right on a certain turn. When you got it right the course "opened up" and I finally got close to it.
Fun times being a noob.

Great advice suggesting not to hit the corner workers.
I'm curious, did you take him through a slow run first to survey the course or suggest keeping it in a high gear to limit torque? I know, sometimes a driver gets behind the wheel and just can't help stomping on the gas.
Easy Mike is a good sport.

The modulation of brake and throttle were much better in the last video. Evidently you and he discussed it quite a bit between runs and he listened to you.
