Default Z06 Rims, What tires should i run for autocross

I have a 99 FRC with two sets of Z06 rims, one set for street and one for track. Wanted to run the rs3s but dont see them for the z06 rims. What tires do yall suggest and what size? Thanks!

I don't AutoX I HPDE but the hoosier A6 is probably the choice if you have the $$ and they make sizes that will fit.

Here's a short list of tires that I've found to be good for both events in order of performance. Continental extreme contact DW, Nitto 555 and 555R, Hoosier R6. On C5 Z06 rims you could go 245/45/17 to 285/35/17 on the fronts and 295/35/18 to 315/30/18 on the rears. The perfect setup for me has been nitto 555R 275/40/17 front and 305/35/18 for the rears. Black 99 Frc, black C5 Z06 wheels.

Did you go with the extremes or the drag radial in the rear?
I ask bc discount tires direct only has the extremes in the 305/35/18 and only the drag for the front 275/40/17

Drag radial. Ive done two hpde and two auto-X with very little wear showing. The auction website has good prices with free shipping in the 305/35/18. That tire sits perfectly flush with the rim. I chose that tire over the 315/30/18 because of the taller sidewall. Contact patch difference is 12" vs 12.4" so not a huge loss; I just really dislike the too much rim, not enough tire look. I'll see if I can post a pic of the rears in a bit.

What have you found works best for you?

GT racing tires is a forum sponsor. PM them and see if they have Hoosier a6 in your sizes.

For street tires I used the RS3 in the 255/17 and 285/18 last year on my C5Z. They were great when the weather was hot, not so when cooler outside. If you are in a hot climate they will be fine. This year I am somewhat patiently waiting for a set of BFG Rivals in 255/17 and 295/18. Jury is still out on how the Rivals will do, but initial impressions seem favorable, I just wish they had a wider 17 for the front.
