Good video.
It's great to see the Vette on track in other countries.
What did the other drivers think of the Vette?

Certainly not by the GT3RS on the first straight shown against that car.
The same GT3RS blew the turn at the 1:40 point.

Besides It's both, car and driver. The Corvette have been mashing the GT3 for many years now, and as soon as GM gave it some real tires, the Nissan too.
So you you can argue all you want, but this falls right in line with the norm.
The GT3 blew the turn because he was looking in his mirrors at the Corvette closing in on him at a high rate of speed. He only expedited the inevitable......

It's just a title man, a superior car/driver combo blowing past inferior ones. Happens all the time.

And unless it is a matter of two professional drivers, it does come down to who is behind the wheel.
The GT3 and the GTR drivers make some major mistakes; the cars didn't make the mistakes.
There are some things you can conclude by watching the video; for example, the GT3RS was as fast or faster than the Vette on the first straight they faced together, and the GT3RS driver and GTR driver made some major handling mistakes in the corners. You can also conclude that the GT3RS let the Vette pass at the 2:10 point, and the GTR let the Vette pass at the 3:00 point.

I know that they are better cars but you have to know that I turn 2 or 3 laps to come closer and to pass this cars and after that, they couldn't follow the vette.
So I can assume on that track and with this drivers, the vette was really faster.
My time was 1:36 and the weather was cold and little wet and it was my first time on this track.
They were good drivers (not the bests) and the rhythm was really high.
In long turns, vette was faster.
On straight lines, vette was faster than GT3RS but similar or slower than the GTR.
And I have a passenger 80kg (176lbs) !
Stock LS3 with Michelin Pilot Super Sport, great road tires.
Some others were in semi-slicks tires but I was always faster in turns

And certainly semi-slicks on a wet/damp track are not going to be very friendly to the driver of whatever car(s) had them.
Nice driving on your part, but to draw hard conclusions about the specific cars there based on the video is difficult.

Wow the whole time I was thinkin' it was a Z06. I'm feeling' pretty good about corvettes!
I will agree though, when it comes to open track with "novices" and "beginners," it really is all about the driver's skill unless the cars are obviously not comparable. In this case, I think they are. The vette's form looked much cleaner to me, personally and he came away lookin' like the champ!
1 for the vettes!
