Will Evo III's fit in a C5?
I found a very, very good deal locally on a set of lightly used Evo III's as the gentleman lost a lot of weight and moved down to Evo II's. Will the III's fit in my C5? I'm a larger guy, 6' and 260 and while I fit in the II's the III's are a great fit as I have quite large legs and broader shoulders. Plus I use my C5 for longer road trips for work and I could see sitting in these seats for 4-6+ hours.
Thanks,
Zak

I put an EVO XL (same as evo 3?) in my passenger seat and had to remove all the stock seat belt hardware to make it fit. Wasn't an issue since interior was removed and I have 6 point harness for pasenger side. I used a crow bar to slightly bend the seat and brackets to get them to squeeze in.

Sounds like a bit to much to make it worth getting it to fit, even for a good price.
I'll go see if i can find some II's out there to sit in and see how well i fit. My waist is about 36-38 but from my years of cycling and lifting I have very large legs and shoulders so most seats do not fit well. I'd like to be able to find a seat I could leave in the car and not have to switch out all the time.

You might want to try the Sparco pro2000 plus. I picked a set of these last year and then flipped one since I don't need a passenger seat. I'm 6' 240 lbs and a 36 waist. I am also broad shouldered and I think this seat fits a muscular build very well.

An aluminum seat will be much easier to fit in your car as well as accomodate your size. I went through what you are going through a few years ago and ended up with a kirkey road race seat.
