Default Hoosier P295/30ZR18 Cayman?

Anybody know what the Cayman tire designation is?

Hoosier has these on sale for $120 per tire in P295/30ZR18.

They also have 295/40ZR18 A & R 6s on sale for $120 if you can run that size.

Yes but what is a "Cayman" vs an a6 vs an r6??

Treadwear #, tread pattern, etc.

Never heard of that one, but the size works on my c5z front.

I think they did a bunch of testing for the new Rolex series GX Caymans? Compounds were a bit harder this year.

Yes, from what I can drum up by browsing the net it's an r6 - with maybe a different outer wrap of rubber compound.

I called but they are closed today.

Yes, it is the R6. The Cayman series failed so they have discontinued it. I emailed Hoosier and they confirmed it is the R6. A buddy of mine just bought 8, so they may not last long.

The ITC series is still alive; they switched to Hankooks.

Just in case you THINK you can squeeze that tire on your car know that per Hoosier rep it measures 27.3" tall and 10.1" wide. Way too tall for me but dang the price is nice.

Froggy, your finger slipped down one line on the Hoosier size page. The 46843s are only 25.3" in diameter.
