Default Brake pad issue

I'm not sure what to look for on this and could use some help. I have a GS that I put new rotors and Stop Tech pads on for the track. I inspected the brakes after two track days. The rear look good. The front have very uneven wear. The pads are badly tapered, very worn on the bottom and a lot of meterial on the top. This is viewing the pad from looking through the back side of the caliper.

Any help would be greatly appreciated. The car has 5000 miles on it.

These are one piece pads, not padlets. You can see the grove depth in the pad at the top versus the bottom.

You don't say WHICH Stoptech pads, so I am assuming Street Performance pads. If so, then I would think that you need to upgrade to RACE pads, and Adam can help you there.....

63Corvette, you are correct. Stop Tech Street Performance pads.

Adam, I will get some pictures when I replace the pads. The bottom of the outboard pad is too worn for another track day. I will send you an email to see what you suggest.

Thanks.
