R888's on stock C6 wheels
So the number of R compound tires that come in 19" are slim to none.
The R888 is the only one I am aware of with a 100 treadwear rating which is the lowest I am allowed to go in my time trial class.
However, it appears Toyo chose to produce 19 and 20's of the R888 but not in the stock C6 size for the rears.
The closest they make is 295/30R19. I am sure it will fit, but I am wondering if anyone has given this a shot yet to find out if there are any adverse effects.

Were you able to use Active Handling?
I took a nail in one of my RE11's, and when the replacement finally came, the diameter difference between a new one and one that was down to about 40% made competition mode unusable. It just became super intrusive and I couldn't keep up with anyone.
I've since gotten used to driving with everything off, but I spun the last time out and it would at least be nice to have the comp mode option available.

Track Junky
As long as you find a stagger with the rears about 1.2" larger in diameter, you should be fine. Tirerack is a good resource for choosing front/rear tire combos because they list the diameters. 4.5% taller in the rear is the target, which is about 1.2".

Thanks, I will go with the lower profile fronts then too.
I was surprised how sensitive the comp mode AH was when I got the new tire. I pulled off the track to see what the hell was wrong, but that was a side to side difference which AH is probably more sensitive to.

I used R888's on my C6 before going back to a C5Z06. I bought the C6 (Z06 style) wheels from Bob's house of wheels and ran the 275 up front and 325 in the rear. Had no problem with anything on the car.

Yeah that is the other option. Get another set of wheels and go wider. But if I get dedicated track wheels, I think I would go 18"s all around and go with the NT-01s or V710s.
I still haven't pulled the trigger on the tires yet because I want to get everything I can out of my RE11s. The odd thing is, the tread is gone on the outside edge of the fronts. I'll have to go look at my alignment spec but I thought we added as much camber as we could.
The one original rear though still has some tread left. I didn't think Corvettes were supposed to wear out their fronts before their rears. The original F1 EMT's certainly didn't.
Perhaps I am not steering with the throttle enough and plowing more than I should be. I wonder if this is typical for the RE11.
After my spin, I really want to learn to drift properly, and I figure if my fronts are nearly gone, maybe I should find an empty parking lot and set up some cones and use up what's left of the rears learning to tame the spin.

Now as to your alignment something is wrong. When running a street tire, in my case Kuhmo XS my wear was good across the tire run 1.5 camber up front and 1 in the rear. Now running my R888 I really wear the outsdie of the tire out.I hope to have a camber kit this year to take care of the issue.

Car was Z51, but I have the JOC package installed now. About half of the RE11's life were on the stock suspension, half on the JOC.
My rear end links are on the center hole on the rear sway.
I lowered my stock leaf springs as low as they go, but it wasn't much.
I spun because it was my first day ever driving with both TC and AH off. I just didn't know what to do when the back end came around on me. I over-corrected and spun the other way which was right off the track into a pile of dirt. It was an embarrassing drive home.
It wasn't even a lot of throttle that did it, just very light throttle on a chicane where I ate up too much of the berm. I'd already been over through it 50 times, but cars were beating me through it all day long, and I thought I should try giving it a little throttle.
A camber kit is probably a good idea, but I've read some people just go have their R888's remounted on the opposite side.

Did the same. Before getting a trailer and tow vehicle I'd drive these on the highway for hundreds of miles to get to a track event and had no problems with AH or TC.
