I think they got a bad rep a while back. Others will know and chime in. Do a search here or other sections.

Don't even think about using them or anything else they make. There are many posts about problems with their stuff. JD

Good Luck!
These are also based on USA-manufactured Coleman rotors, and I honestly think they are the best 2-piece option both in terms of performance and price. You can get them for about $700 for a pair, and they are 10lbs lighter than the OEM Z06 rotors EACH! So, if you just replace front OEM rotors of a C6 Z06, you end up deleting 20 lbs of unsprung weight; making your front rolling mass less than ZR1's with its carbon-ceramic brakes..

They also do manufacture heavy-duty brakes with less weight savings, though, and I'm not sure if you'd rather need those rotors for competition use. Those who have used them, please chime-in to comment on durability of regular Coleman/AFX rotors vs. the heavy duty ones

The AFX rotors & customer service are very good. I have a set of (4) on my car and they do very well for my DD.

I have them on all 4 corners. 10 pounds lighter each in the front and 3.5 each in the rear. Have had zero problems with them. They had a bad wrap years ago and from what I'm told it was only the fact that they didn't last long.

I didn't get it. Wrap? Perhaps warp? So they warp when they don't last long?

No, it's actually a saying...

Example; 250 million cars and trucks on the roads get a bad wrap for being environmentally unfriendly

Definition; unjustified critism

You mean "bad rap" then:
From It's Bad Rap, Not Bad Wrap
http://www.todayifoundout.com/index....-not-bad-wrap/
You should know that the expression to describe when someone is falsely convicted of a criminal charge or is on the receiving end of unjustified criticism is “bad rap”, not “bad wrap”.
Apologies for hijacking the thread
