EVS R4 Race Collar
Anyone have experience with this collar?

I plan on keeping stock seats/belts for now but I want some on track safety for my neck.

Burning Brakes
Sombody was posting about using the same collar in their race car as while instructing. It was this board but I cant rember the thread, seems like it was about collars. wish I could be more help

If you are going to use stock belts then go with this unit from Simpson:

It is SFI rated and those others aren't rated. They don't even look safe. If you watch a crash test video of a dummy with a HANS device you see how it and the one above work. They keep your head on top of your neck by restraining the forward and upward movement of your head. They can also restrain side movement. From what I can see neither of the two you were looking at can do that.
