Well--bad news there, tomasinos (sp?) went out of business. We drove by his restaurant and they had a for sale sign up, so we then went to the nugget to go to stockmans steakhouse and low and behold he was there singing by the piano--haha!

Loved Tomasinos. Too bad it's gone. Now its either Dennys or Wolfies.

We did 3 straight nights of fillets at stockmans--close, decent price, decent steaks...then back to condo for a night cap.

Problem with Stockmans is they try to make it a two hour dinner. Can't make SM this time.

Sucks about Tomasino's. Went to the Winery last night. Had a good steak.

Ya we heard about that place, one of the guys there said it was pretty good...how's driving going? I had Stan the last day and he was great--really pushes you if he feels you can handle it!!

Rained out on a road course...whacky. BMW club ran at Watkins Glen the day Katrina came through...was my first track day in the wet.

I won't call it a total washout, those car control exercises were a blast
Second day was pretty good except for that short shower and cold temperatures made traction tricky at times. Good thing for those car control exercises the day before. Running in competitive mode in those conditions was a hand full entering fast corners. Need to go when it's hot and dry for sure next time and sweat it out.

it was fun to have you out here T.
like we've said in the past, we don't charge extra for the rain
as it can make you even more smooth when it gets dry!
cheers,
vic.

Looking forward to coming back, maybe during the dry season. But is it true that a new track is coming and the School will be moving to it sometime in the summer. And if so what kind of configuration can we expect?
