Default keyless ignition?

I seem to have lost my only key for my ST2 car after my last race. Does anyone know if a C5 can switch to an aftermarket ignition switch panel like this?

Or will I need to get a new unit from GM? Thanks.

It can be done by it will be cheaper / easier to just have a new key(s) made.
Keep the spare in the trailer - that and an extra battery kill switch key is a good idea too!

But that only affects Denny Hamlin at Martinsville.

I think the way it works is that the key has this tablet thing and it communicates and unlocks the ECU so it can start. On 5.2+ motronics you can't separate this function or turn it off. But if we are lucky you can with a tuner just like the tuners fake out the CLB fuel cutoff by changing the parameter to 200mph or something like that. Maybe post in the C5 tune section?
