The ARRC in Pics
Simon Gregg had an especially fine weekend at the ARRC Winning the qualifying race, the ARRC feature, the Porterfield Enterprises V8 StockCar GT-1 championship and garnering enough points in the two trans am races to take home the TRANS AM championship.
Simon is of course the son of the late great IMSA and Trans Am champ Peter Gregg.

The new Howe built Mustang on display at the ARRC. These can compete in Crane Cams V8 StockCar GTA or Trans Am 2.
These will have nearly 500 HP and weigh about 2800 with driver.

I love those Good Year G19 tires. Best tires I ever had.

Bobby Kennedy in the Bemco Ford Taurus shortly before the ARRC, the finale for the Crane Cams V8 StockCar Series. Bobby came home third behind Cameron Lawrence and Randy Walker in the Howe Camaro pictured above. This chassis may get re-bodied as a Mustang sometime next year.

AJ Henriksen's Nascar K&N East Series stock car. These are powered by carbureted LS2's making about 600 HP.
Some of the K&N bodies are fiberglass as is this one.

Andrews from up my way. That Mustang was built last winter and prepped also by Gateway (Blaise Csida of trans am). They are based out of Mosport where their garages are.

The V8 GTA ARRC race and CC V8SC Championship winning Impala of 20 year old Cameron Lawrence. Cameron also won the Sunday TA2 race in the Miller Motorsports Camaro for his first Trans Am Series win. This kid is GOOD.
