Kerry Hitt from ACP.
It is the real hood. They do not make a fiberglass version of it.

Actually they do make a fiberglass version, I have one, it isn't on the sheet on their website, just call and ask.

I got mine from Kerry in the Fall of 2011. Its Fiberglass, the undertray is only available in Carbon.

I am surprised they don't vent the wheel well area like they do on their cowl extractor hood

what does the FG WC hood weigh?

WC rules didn't allow it back then. This design was made specifically for World Challenge. 3R too a set of KFC louvers and bonded them into an OEM hood for approval. ACP then took 3R's test mule, and made a Mold. Less than 2 season later, the C6 came out and it was never revised. I think Black Dog has probably copied it, as well as Ecklers and maybe 3R themselves. You can't "patent" world challenge parts, they have to be open for suppliers

and as far as I know, Kerry will do Carbon or Fiberglass on any part he has a mold for. He once told me a Vacuum-bagged glass panel isn't all that much heavier than Carbon.
