Default Returned to the scene of the "crime" for the first time!

And collected 2 pole positions, 2 wins in ITE and 2 3rd place qualifications in AV8SS and one 2nd place finish! Would have won the last race too, but had an electrical gremlin in the heat that cut the car short for the last race of the weekend.

Not quite back time wise, but getting faster EVERY time I hit the track!

Haven't been around here too much lately...too busy workin' and racin'. We DID get the fuel situation worked out with the complete redo and at Sears a month ago was able to run 45 minute races with no fuel issues. I got clocked in the right front fender at Sears breaking the fender, nose and splitter a bit, but a little green duct tape, and you can't even tell in the photo above! Will need to spend some time with the fiberglass this winter.

One more race at Laguna at the end of the month! Can't wait!!!

Good to see you back. The car looks gorgeous.

Good to hear you're getting the gremlins worked out and the car is getting better.

Congrats!! Always tough to get back on track after a harrowing adventure, but like most tough things in life, you either persevere or you surrender.

Thanks guys....the wreck was aweful...and it has been harder than I thought it would be coming back. I don't have any real fear....just have been "uncomfortable" in the car at times. Some of that is rust, some of that is not knowing a new car, some of that is from the accident I am sure. I can say, that every time I get in the car, it is a bit better. I felt the most at home on the track this past weekend, on the track that nearly killed me last year and the one that I never really liked before the wreck! That is saying something!

Great news! So glad to see you back on the track after such a horrifying wreck; and seems like you're just about ready to start taking some names!

Have a good one,
Mike
