NEXT ROUND: Jersey Touring Car Challenge... WG???
Good afternoon everyone..
The organizer is trying to arrange October 7th at Watkins Glen. There is a regional the same weekend and a 4 hour enduro...
There will be two sanction numbers so will count as two regional races for those trying to get their SCCA Natl comp licenses.
Is any one interested in doing this one?
Its not for certain yet, but we will make it happen if enough people commit early.
Three or four classes..
TC1 STO, ST1
TC2 T1, ST2, C4 TCC Corvettes, GS Grand Am, GTS WC
TC3 T2, AS, AI, ST Grand Am, TC WC
TC4 T3 and whatever else fits... (this is a tentative class)
SCCA, NASA, NARRA, Grand Am licences welcome
Lets have a great turnout..

But I am reluctant to fly out and rent someones racecar to race at a track I have never been on....

C4's in TC
Joe,
There are two Old TCC C4's that want to join the ranks of this series. You saw us at NJMP for the Summer Thunder & the inaugural Jersey Touring Challenge race. I'm still shaking down the car & new motor, but Chuck & I are up for this series. I'll be calling your shop and looking for Kurt Monday. We do need to tweak the rules some to fit us in but we are ready to run later this year or next. Hope to see you at the shop.
