Default C5z06 Track pads

Hello Everyone , I just bought a 2003 C5z06 which has cams and head work done to it. My intention of this purchase is to primarily road race the car. I had a Gt3 and 996tt before, the brake choice was quite easy Pagid Yellow and SRF.

I need help in slecting the brake pads, ducts lines etc.

For strictly DE Car and very minimal street use , whats the best brake pad out there that works with stock rotors?

The car has Nitto 555 rii

Autobahn and Road America are few tracks i plan on going.

Thanks in advance.

Default pads

I really like the PFC01, they last forever but a little pricey.

Thanks. I had 2011 gt3 , fantastic car. I think its the best car porsche makes now , tons of character and performance. I tracked it for about 4 events and put 5 k street miles and then traded it in for F430 6 speed.

Gt3 is great on track, but i did not want to risk a 140 k car on track. So after a lot of research i found c5z as the best track car for money. Power to weight is superior to gt3 , on track handling i will know soon.

So far i am loving the zo6. My first american car.

Where did you get the 01s from? I run these on my BMW. Great pad.
I'm suprised Performance Friction doesn't make the 06 compound for the Vette. Or do they?
I ran the Carbotech 12f/10r at the last event and didn't like them all that much.

Wilwood H compound front and rear. Bring extra rotors that have some miles (heat cycles) on them. Avoid running brand new (uncycled) rotors.

For durability and stopping ability, Raybestos ST series.

I've been using ST-43s all around on both street tires and R-comps.
