Default Pfadt Europe Corvettes taking on the German Tuner Grand Prix

Every year an elite group of European tuners comes together for one super track day shootout, appropriately named the German Tuner Grand Prix. The event brings together some of the biggest names in European Motorsports, pitting each teams fastest car and most impressive heavy artillery against each other in a battle for track supremacy. Last year the overall winner of the event was a tuned KTM X-Bow piloted by Reinhard Kofler Hohenester. The event this year, like last year, is held being held at the historic Hockenheimring and our own crew from Pfadt Europe is on the scene battling it out with 3 of their Corvettes!

Here is a photo of the KTM X Bow, the winner of last years event. Can a Corvette dethrone the best that Europe has to offer? As we receive updates from the weekend we will post new pictures and commentary from our team at Pfadt Europe who are currently on site at the Hockenheimring!

FIRST UPDATE:

Load in is complete! We were able to get the cars loaded in and run through a pre race check list earlier today. After the cars were ready to rock we headed out for a walk through the paddock to check out the competition. We've got photos taken from both posted below.

The cars felt amazing after the first free practice. Two of the cars are doing exceptionally well so far! We are currently sitting in 2nd Place in the Supercharged class with the ZR1, and in 2nd place in the Naturally Aspirated Class with our Z06. Not too bad of a showing so far! Needless to say we're extatic at the results so far. Now we just need to carry that into the action tomorrow!

Check out some photos from the weekend so far:

Way to show those Europeans what a Corvette can do
For some reason, a lot of people don't realize Corvettes turn.

Our Pfadt Europe partners are located right at the entrance to the Nürburgring and have definitely been showing Europe how fast these cars really are for a while now. It's just awesome to see them with such a presence at a huge event like this!
