Default WGI Laptimes

What's a good laptime for a stock Z06 on street tires at WGI?

I have seen 2:15 lap times running very well worn EMTs.

I must have seriously underestimated the 997 C4S, they were running 2:18's and I was back and forth with them all session. Also, is it just me or did the track get way bumpier into 1 and 8? It's been 2 years since I was last there. I was seeing active handling into 1 which was a little unnerving - is that common? 1 has always been the hardest turn for me.

I don't think the braking zone going into 1 has changed that much over the years but 8 seems to have changed a lot over the years. When coming into the corner at speed I almost always get into the ABS in the braking zone due to the wash board section at the end of the straight. I don't remember it being that bad 12 to 15 years ago.

On R888's, well run in, 2:10-2:13. Depends on what you consider a street tire.

Depends on the driver. 2:10 would be an outstanding time. My best time on R888s was 2:16.

That's what they run and remember they are quite easy to drive and look about half as good as your Z06 does doing it!
