Paranoia Tires Check... help a n00b out please!
I know there are no hard & fast rules on tires, especially with street tires, but just wanted to have some more experienced eyes take a look at these pics of my NT05, this is the right rear but the rest show the same sort of pattern.
Top is inside shoulder
Same tire, different view, left side is inside:
Most of what I've read is more or less run 'em down to the cords and these have plenty of rubber. I have in my mind the NCM event at VIR at the end of June where my wife & I will both run the car so it will see 16 sessions in 2 days. Likely to have 1 more day on them before that, so 4 more sessions and my thought is like with brakes, better safe than sorry so start with a fresh set. But I hate to throw away tires with good track miles left in 'em so... comments, suggestions, etc appreciated.

My NT05s lasted for 26 track days (~ 4 20 minute sessions per day) but heat cycled out at the last one. I tried to run an autocross with them a week or so later and the car felt like it was on ice. They had plenty of tread left and also had an unusual wear pattern that wore the edge of the center tread bar that yours don't seem to have. I say go with them. As they get used more you may need a little more heat in them to make them sticky.

Thanks everybody, guess I just needed a little reassurance!
Bill that is particularly great detail and VERY much appreciated.

Hi,
I saw that. Rotate l/r is different from flipping.
Flipping is dismounting the tire from the rim & putting it back 180 deg. rotated.
Outer edge becomes inner, inner becomes outer.
Disregard warnings about this side out & do not run in the wet.
Directionally you run them the same direction. Or you can reverse direction.
I have done this for 9 years now with about a dozen different tire brands.
It was published in GRM (Grass Roots Motorsports) years ago in a tech article by Tire Rack.
They tested it.
