Default explain to me the easiest way to adjust coils

Already have them on the car. Figured 700# on all 4 would not let the back tire come up and hit the wheel well....well it did on sat driving on the highway when I hit a bump. So i better raise the back end a bit. Alignment for the car is Friday morning, and i dont have alot of time to F with it. Whats the quickest way to adjust these up about 1/8"?

They are the G2 LG coils

I added a 1/2" aluminum spacer to my rear shock mount to raise them up. You can also increase the preload on the spring to some extent. However, if your tires are wider than your fenders, no amount of raising the ride height will prevent tire rub under heavy compression.

This should be covered in LG's instructions? But as mentioned before, just increase the preload on the shocks and it will raise the chassis and change the ride height. Besure not to get to much rake in the car. JD

Turn the adjusting collar one turn. That would be pretty close. You can always file, sand your fender up higher.

Sorry, this was the inner fender. I hit a bump and smell burnt rubber. I will give the turn a try. I was under the impression though, the preload shouldnt be adjusted?

With the G2's yes it will change the pre-load slightly on them, nothing to worry about.

On those shocks one full turn will roughly change ride height 0.100" at the body. So 1/4" would be 2 and a 1/2 turns.

In my own experience, when doing them quickly I buzz the bolts out of the upper control arms and pull it out of the way, make my change and put it back together....much quicker to do it that way and it doesn't change alignment by pulling the arm...ride height will however.
