Hoosier A6 vs. Hankook Ventus Z214 C71
Does anyone have any experience with both the Hoosier A6 and the newer Hankook Ventus Z214 in C71 compound in primarily and "autocross" type event?
These are really only available in C4 sizing, so probably have not seen them if your more in to C5's and C6's
Looking for "grip" and "wear" comparisons.
The A6 has been my tire of choice.

Craig Wilcox has been running them at some local events (D-stock multi-time National Champ). He think on his Mini at least, they are as fast as the A6. My guess is that they will be about as fast, but probably not faster. Wear might be somewhat better, but not that much. Craig made a few comments here,

So if they're cheaper in your size, probably worth a try, otherwise might not be much point.

I've been curious about this too. I run A6's in 275/40-17 on my 87 coupe and it's tire time. Another set of A6's will run over $1300 while the Z214 comes in at under a grand.
Reviews of this brand on the Tire Rack website seems to show that this tire is very close to the A6 if not an equal.
Anybody run this tire on a C4? Any suggestions for starting air pressures?
