Default Help c6 to z06 trans and diff swap

Need some info .. I have a 2006 c6 that I have turned into a track only car. I Have purchased a trans and a diff out of a 2009 z06 .. I want to install it into my c6. My question is will it be a direct bolt up? Or do i need to makes some mods. I know that the z06 trans and diff has it's own oil pumps and will need to make up some oil coolers... Will my torque tube fit with the z06 trans ? Will my c6 cv work on the z06 trans? Any info will be greatly appreciated

Should be a pretty clean swap except for the cooling lines. You might have to add a cut-out) in the torque tube bell housing for the front line if your torque tube does not have an opening.

Mechanically speaking it should not be that bad.

Just like changing a clutch, except for the clutch part, plus hooking up some cooler lines. Do not use an air gun to drop the cradle from the car, only hand tools and the same goes for reinstalling it.

You don't want to break the retaining pins holding the bolts.
