Default Katech question

My wife has offered to buy me the Katech front splitter with undertray and brake duct kit along with the rear splitter for my birthday present.

I like the downforce testing results published by Katech. So it's been on my mind.

Should I get the carbon fiber or the gel coated fiberglass setup? Is the additional downforce noticeable?

Looks like Katech quality is pretty good.

Any opinions?

Thanks.

get the gel coated alot easier to repair if something happens, the carbon fiber will shatter into many unrepairable pieces

Agreed with previous post. Carbon fibre for rear spoiler is ok if you want that look, but fiberglass for front splitter. It will take abuse, there is no question about it. If you get carbon, when it is damaged, you will fiberglass it to repair it, and then paint it flat black, just like the new fiberglass one you can buy right now. Voice of experience here. Jerry

Sounds like the real deal is to buy the fibreglass splitter with the undertray and brake duct. I didn't know the carbon fiber would shatter.
