Default Is this window net location legal?

I know the zip ties aren't legal! LOL It's going to be welded, but wondering if this position is legal. I would actually like it to be lower by about an inch if possible. I will be racing mostly SCCA ITO and ITE road course.

I don't think the rules specify exactly where it has to be. My cage builder took care of it.

Your good. Thats about the best your going to get it on a Corvette. You just need space for a marshall to get his hand in to the kill switch and of course enough space to stop a flying tire from coming in. Unless you can get a custom one to fill that hole better thats about it.
I'd post pics of my ST2 car but I'm not allowed. It looks about like yours.

Actually pages 102-4 refer to the inside window net. Page 107 shows an illustration of the outside window net. Yours complies. Your good to go.

Thanks for all the help. I've got it all installed and welded up. The door bars were a bit challenging to work around. I had to remove about 3" of door panel so that it didn't stretch the net, but it works as intended.

I have to think there's a better shaped / larger size net available. Frankly that one looks too short and its' definetly lacking in the width department. BTW, I'd weld the lower tabs to the cages' door bars. Anything you can do to, A) close off the openings through which shrapnel can fly and B) make the opening as large as possible for hurried escape is a good idea.
