I have video from my Homestead HPDE this weekend. I can view on the Quicktime player on my computer, but it appears I have to upgrade the program to edit or do much else. I'm running Windows Vista. Any video jocks know what program I should use and how to get it? Thanks.

I use this Divx converter software so I can play it and edit it in Windows movie maker.

It works pretty good. Took a bit to figure out some things, but we'll see if I remember this season.

I use Adobe Premiere Elements and I run Vista but I understand that Windows 7 will let you do it in Windows Movie Maker.

Yes - Movie Maker on Win 7 works.

I second this option. I use it with my GoPro and RaceChrono. Very simple to integrate the two files and sync them up. Then you just render the video how you want it. Very customizable but out of the box the thing just works and works well. Well worth the $30 bucks.

You can download Windows Live Movie Maker from MS for free and it will work on a Vista machine. That is how I edit the video clips from my Flip Camcorder. Maybe not the best tool available but it gets the job done and it is free.
