Washington DC SCCA PDX Rocks!!!
Just wanted to let my fellow road racing junkies know about the SCCA event I just attended at Summit Point. Although I race a SM car with NASA, I still attend HPDE events with several organizations. After my second event with the Washington DC region SCCA, I have to say that they put on a great event. My top three groups for driving events are TrackDaze, SCCA and NASA. (not in any particular order)
The SCCA PDX gives you a bunch of track time with what I consider a very light number of cars per group. I think we had about 14 or so in my group. They also run time trials as well. Seems to me this is great resource that doesn't get the same attention as some other groups.
I highly recommend checking them out.

Burning Brakes
Just found this - thanks for the complements, guys! I'm one of the organizers (we're all volunteers, nobody is paid here...). If you have any questions about our program please direct them my way (public or private) and I'll be happy to answer as best as I can.
Next event is in June, on Shenandoah. We're on Shenandoah again in August, then back on Summit Point Main in September (hey, we take what dates we can get....)
