Interesting stuff.

How much would a splitter set-up like that cost to recreate?

How easy is it to install and remove? Would it require any permanent mods to the car to do so?

D- nothing firmed up yet unfortunately. Still on the never ending money finding mission.

Olitho-
It is completely bolt on, so not too tough to R&R. His car required no additional mods, because it was already prepared for a splitter. A similar concept could be applied to any car, and with the right parameters produced to meet your requirements.

It would be nice to have something that can bolt onto the front in 15 minutes or less and then come back off in 15 minutes or less, both for loading onto a trailer and to not violate rules of different classes where a splitter is not allowed.

A valuabe solution for many drivers would be a splitter that does not modify the stock car in anyway, except for maybe some bolt holes in order to be able to switch up a car for both SCCA T1 and NASA ST-2.

I agree. I have designed something similar for somebody else a few years ago (non vette).

It's nice not to require an enclosed trailer, or an 'expensive' sliding open trailer.

This would not be so easy or efficeint without the front fascia which is different than an OEM fascia for the front splitter.

I like how you are thinking though !!

ACP makes a add-on front splitter fascia to the OEM bumper cover, but I do not think that will be a 15 minute change out..

Definitely not as easy or efficient, but very doable. Problem is there is a low % number of people that need something like that. Therefor production doesn't make sense. There are things like you are talking about around, but they are all one-offs.

I need one like Oli is suggesting. That's 2 now. Is that enough?

I have a pair of these wing mounts Jordon made for me for a Crawford Wing on my C5. The mounts are almost too nice and pretty to put on the car. First class machine work.

I wouldn't think the ACP one would provide any benefit, the 1 I saw seemed a little flimsy and didn't have a real undertray.

Most people seem to do OK with rear wing, but it is the front splitter that is the issue. You can count me as #3.
