Good link!

Corvette DP cars look like they are fast...just hope they have the legs to go the distance.

On a sad note, there is only ONE Corvette in GT class...

Yep, been checking it off and on today. Can't wait. Some awesome crossover drivers this year, including McNish in a DP for the first time!

Really pulling for the Suntrust team. Been a fan of Wayne Taylor for awhile now, always seemed like a bit of an underdog and a true racer.

I could never cheer for Angelleli, he's such a hot head! I guess I'll be a Gainsco fan this year since they are in "corvettes"

Pulling for APR and their R8, I went to HS and played ball with Stephen growing up, I remember sitting in spanish class reading car mags listening to him babble about designing his own suspension stuff. He build that company from nothing

In 2007 I got to have dinner at Oak Tree tavern with Max and Jan Magnusson. Both were very open and talkative, especially once they found out I was a Corvette nut and had driven VIR a bunch (was just an advanced HPDEer at tha point). The company my father works for used to do a bunch of busniess with SunTrust so we got passes to the race and got to go to the team hospitality dinner. Most of the other participants weren't really into road raing and didn't know who Max and Jan were. When I saw nobody sitting at their table I was shocked so I went over and asked if we could sit with them. What was really cool was Jan telling the story of his record lap at Nurburgring in the C6Z06; had happened recently at the time.

Wowsers. They are doing something right - first 26 GT cars are within 2 sec of each other.
Should be an excellent DP race too.

Anyone in NYC watching this?

At least they still have a Riley chassis under that "Corvette" body work.

I think it's going to be the 60 this year, MSR is due for a 24, and I like the 'dinger. Gotta give some support to the Starworks guys too (glad to see RHR back in the 2), and Joao Barbosa always gets my support...I just hate that he's in a Coyote this year. 01 and 02 will be hard to beat as well...as long as it's a Riley!

Speedsource and Dempsey Mazda's in GT.

01 starting last (did not make a qualifying run due to engine change)! It won't take those boys long to get up front.

Anyone know why speed chose to play hours upon hours of nascar practice qualifying and prerace stuff (and then sometimes play reruns of it as well) but they dont give any attention to the daytona 24 practice and qualifying?
