Default Anyone replace the snap ring on the shock shaft?

When I was initially installing the Hardbar delrin shock mounts I over-tightened it and the lower metal cup forced the shock snap-ring out of place. I was able to fix it and raced all year w/o issue.

Doing off-season prep/suspension work and I noticed a bit of the snap-ring isn't fully seated. For piece of mind It'd be nice to replace with a beefy regular snap ring/circlip that I can use pliers on.

Anyone ever have an issue with this? Any chain stores carry snap rings?
