Default 2008 LS3 Z51 vs Ford Mustang Boss Leguna Seca (Lightning Lap)

Boss Leguna Seca - 3:02.8
2008 Z51 - 3:01.2 per below vid:

I'm assuming the Boss comes with stickier tires, but even then on a course like VIR, thats not too shabby in comparison. Whats some of the track guys take on the trackability difference between the two?

I chased (and got chased) by a new Boss (not a Laguna Seca) at my home track (TWS) last time out in my almost stock C5Z.......pretty close match-up.

I wish they'd run the Full course so the times would be easy to compare. I guess they feel the Grand course has more tight sections to even things out or something along those lines.

Between a Mustang and a nearly anything I'll choose the non-Mustang. They can be made very fast and very capable, but they're just big and bulky. I'll take the C5/C6 full frame chassis with SLA suspension front and rear over the unibody with MacPherson front and solid axle rear in the Stang.

The Corvette is a better platform for a track/race car.
