There is lots of info on this in the C5Z forum. The Alcoa's are forged, harder to find since they were only on 01's and seem to sell for a bit more. The Speedlines are spun cast, nearly as strong and more plentiful. They are also lighter by about a pound. Sizes are the same.

I have sets of both, probably gonna sell off one or the other. I don't want a mixed set for my track wheels.

The Speedlines have their name cast into the backside of one of the spokes. Alcoas have the GM part number and ID stuff "pin stamped' into the backside.

The Alcoas are slightly darker in color, have a sharper radii along the spokes and, if I recall (can't easily access my wheels right now), have a slightly different web reinforcement on the backside by the hub.

Center caps are interchangeable.

The Alcoa also have a wee bit better spoke/caliper clearance if you are running a BBK.
