Default Need some advice from Corvette racers

I need to install an external battery disconnent of my C5 to meet NASA rules and am not sure where to put it. The car currently has a battery disconnect under the hood , but that will not pass inspection. Where do you guys install the disconnect and what brand should I look for ? Thanks for any help you can give.

I put mine on the driver's A pillar post so that I can reach it, as well as a SW.

I agree, usually somewhere left of the steering wheel. I use a generic on/off red switch from Walmart/Autozone etc. I just wire the alternator to the "hot" side (requires a little creative wiring) or the alternator will keep the engine running even when you disconnect the battery.

I put mine inside the passenger window so a corner worker coming from that side can reach it. I already have a cut off switch on the driver's side: the key.

Default Found a spot fot the disconnect

Well since eveyone was gone on Monday I decided to work on the car. I was able to put the battery disconnect on the cowling above the wiper on the passenger side. Much easier than I thought and works great.
