I have an 05 Z51 coupe. Friend modified the Curt hitch to fit around Borla Stingers. Uses same 4 mounting points. Close fit to sway bar, but no problems. Pulled a 4' Harbor Freight trailer (5 track tires +tools) to VIR, Mid Ohio and Putnam this season. Ran like a champ with no issues. Curt hitch doesn't work with the NPP OEM exhaust.

Thanks 72 Vega, thats what I am in the process of doing. It should clear
sway bar by 1/4 to 1/2 inch

Maybe the Curt doesn't fit easily, but it sure works in my '08 C6 w/ Phadt sways. Last winter, I put mine on in my garage using jack stands.

I encourage others to do the same.

To OP -- If you use the Curt plug and play wiring harness, the instructions that came with it are incorrect for grounding. I used the flat silver grounding strap that runs along the outside of the rear bulkhead as a ground. Works fine
