Trans oil cooler - plumbing, filter?
Took a really quick look but don't have time to mock up before I make sure I have everything needed - I see there is a T fitting included - are there 2 scavenge lines or 2 feeds?
Has anyone used an in-line filter on the scavenge side? Seems like a good idea. Looking to use a "coarse" one (filters down to .050") since the 149 micron ones seem like they will clog regularly (pain to replace the screen). Any thoughts?
Thanks.

I've used these on several cars in the past and have never found them to get clogged up.

Let's put it this way if it's clogged, you've got bigger issues.
I put them in line to help try to save the pump if something does go wrong.
It's just a screen, you could probably go to a hardware store and find a more coarse screen if you felt the one that came with it was too restrictive.

Filter saved our pump. Gasket material used in a rebuild clogged the filter.......was doing a fluid change and used the pump to cycle the old out........barely got a trickle.......pulled the filter and it was PACKED with rubber chunks.
Always use a filter.............
