Reinstalling Eccentric Bolts - Advice Needed
I'm removing the Pfadt camber kit from my car and going back to stock. When I removed the stock eccentric bolts the aluminum bolt sleeves were damaged/destroyed.
Does anybody know for certain if the sleeves are needed or can I get by without them. I'm not sure what purpose they serve.
I'd need to buy all new eccentric bolts as the sleeves are not sold by themselves and they are rather pricey.
TIA
Rick

Our camber kit is a great way to really secure the alignment for your C5 and C6 cars. We've had a factory eccentric slip while on track and it sure wasn't fun. That incident really spurred us on to develop our camber kit.
As far as replacement stock hardware goes, you may want to try giving Corvette Recycling a call. They should have plenty of the factory hardware on one of their vehicles. When ever we need a factory piece and we can't find it in house they normally can get us taken care of. Their number is 801-447-4700.

With the eccentrics you just put the head on and turn the eccentric to where you want it, bolt it down and you're done.
I'll have a kit for sale in a little bit.....
