Clutch fluid
Getting ready for a TT session at RD Atl in Dec. I was thinking about changing my clutch fluid, (hasn't been changed since I have owned the car and only has 14K). Still it is a 2002Z and likely needs it. I was wondering if there is a brand most prefer doing track days. I was thinking I saw that GM recommends DOT4, but wondered if like brake fluid, most of you upgrade to another type.
Thanks

Looks like you all use the brake fluid you are using for your calipers, correct? So, guess I will use my Castrol unless you guys know better. So what happens if some of it gets mixed?
I am running TTS. Since August I installed new springs, shocks, adjustable end links, etc. Jeff England convinced me to contribute to his tire collection since Scott and Mark have enough. Seriously, I like the idea of being able to pick and choose my suspension set-up. Just hope I come into some extra $$ soon. Us older guys need all the edge we can get.

I use valvoline synthetic.

ATE Superblue for me. Changing it is a royal PITA unless you have installed an aftermarket remote bleeder line. Personally, I just suck it out of the reservoir and re-fill periodically. Whenever I install a new clutch or service the driveline I will install the remote bleeder.

I think most of us use what ever we use in our brake systems. For me it is ATE super blue when ya get your clutch done be sure to put in a remote bleeder ... makes bleeding possible. SRF is an overkill for the clutch but may be most simple since you are doing brakes at same time.....
