What data is available from OBD-II?
Hi all. I would want to integrate external data with my Race Technology
GPS/accelerometer data to help analyze my driving. Does the C5 OBD-II
port provide any useful data in that regard? I have seen cars that have
signals for throttle position, steering angle, etc.

Do you have a DL-1?
If so, skip the OBD-II and directly wire into the steering angle sensors, oil pressure, rpm, brake pressure, throttle.

I have the AX-22 but could upgrade if necessary. Yes, steering angle, throttle position,
and braking pressure would be perfect. This is my first Vette, and I am carefully gathering
basic info.

I highly recommend the DL1. I have the oldest one and am very happy with it. I have the Dash 3, going to a Dash 4.
I highly recommend the book "The Competition Car Data Logging Manual" if you want to be able to properly use the system. No need to get any more sensors - though the stock brake pressure sensor is a bit dirty (doesn't always return to zero pressure, differing max pressures). You may want to add a trans temp sensor if you have C5Z power levels.
This is a free points mod in NASA, and can help you drop seconds off your lap time. Bushings, A6s and a data logger are the holy grail for dropping lap times.
