Default Source for C5 carbon fiber fender flare

Has anyone got a source for rear carbon fiber fender flares?

Called Kerry (ACP) and he only does complete rear fender.

Carbon Creations is out of stock till middle of December.

Default fender flares

Park,

That is exactly what I am looking for.

They are delaying the new car build by having to wait till December.

Call me.

What are those made of? That's a marketable product.

I think you could have a market for those.

I would get a front set.

J.R. and I race with guy here at miller who drives a 996 cup that owns a business that makes large fiberglass parts. He can make the mold and lay up parts. He has made his own mold for his 996 cup front bumper and they turn out great, He showed me a new material that was carbon reinforced, it was light, very strong and tough as s--t. We are going to do a front for the c5 out it and I am sure that the flares could be made out of the same stuff, would definitely pass on a few sets to people on the road race forum for what ever they cost to do. Any suggestions would be welcome for sure

hurry! Make them so they still attach and you would be able to cut some more height out of the fender / wheelwell opening. thanks

I'd be interested in a front/rear set. How would you attach?

Thats how these were designed they flare off the bottom of the wheel well so you could run a 1" - 1 1/2" wider wheels and leave the car at appropriate ride height and get the look the street guys want. They actually fit the fender contour perfect so they could even be stuck on with tape. but wouldn't most of you want to be able to cut the wheel well open more for the track? I did them when my car was a street/track and not a pure track car. thoughts? a few more pics

Looks good. Exactly what I've been looking for. I would suggest taking the front section of the rears all the way down.

Oh yeah... that's just what you want... input from all the floormats obsessed waxers

Why not make them in flexible ABS plastic... crap gets torn up on a race car anyway.

might as well post up a pic of the new race wing so they can all tell me my car is rice
i thought glass or carbon just because the molds are easier to build and I was just making them for myself I have done a lot of injection molds for my business and they are $$

Gotcha... I have zero experience with molding. I figured plastic would be cheaper, but sounds like you're the expert on that front.

you are absolutely correct about the part cost, in fact they would probably be less than 10.00 bucks each out of a injection mold in ABS but the tooling would be 15-20K for each fender, definitely not an expert I just had to have molds made for my products, working on a new helmet right now tooling will be 25-30K each size for 3 sizes
