Default new goodies going into the c5 Z06

just a few random pics of the new build. motor is dry sumped 433 ls2 built by Erik Konig for Aaron Pfadt and he never used it. I capped it off with some ls7 heads and intake. Should be fun for sure. There is a bunch of Porsche cup cars here at the MPRA races at Miller to run down

What trans/diff combo? I'm curious if it's off a C6; and if so, are you running a C6 cradle?

Man...that's the best **** I've seen all day.

Would love a report on how you like the spherical bearings after you get this up and running. Got myself an extra set of control arms for this very upgrade in the near future.

That car is going to be a BEAST !! We will need a full track report and hopefully some video after you have had a chance to decimate some of those P - Cup cars.

I've got a lot of lap times with the ls6 to compare it too. I think that it will take a bit to sort out with all the new suspension, bushings, new Pfadt two way coilovers, wanted to get the ls6 out and have it refresh before it blew, then its headed for my sons 944 turbo.

Thanks, it got a little out of control and it all started with Aaron saying "hey I have a short block with a dry sump pan on it that I can give you a good deal on"

That's how it always starts "Well if I'm going to be doing 'xxxx', I might as well go ahead and do 'yyyy'..."

I was wondering when we were going to see pics on the forums of this build!

Go get em! Just try and stay ahead of the 240's.

I need to get a C5! At least companies still make parts for them. Looks like fun.

That's the nice thing about the C6 just being a rebodied C5 chassis.... most parts fit '97 through today. Will be interesting to see how much is interchangable with the pending C7.

Very nice build and what better track to get to play on! Would be interested to know what kind of speeds the new setup makes on the front straight.

So Park,

Does this mean I need to build a new engine over the winter.

George Smith has a similar drivetrain although in a well sorted c5 coupe, I think he hits around 165

At the rate this build has gone J.R. I'll still be well behind you in a challenge Mustang
