Johnny O'Connell shocks question
Can you lower the car at all if you use the JOC shocks? Pfadt says you can lower their adjustable shocks up to 1", but no mention of that for the JOC shocks.

When you use the stock leaf springs you will always have a small option for ride height adjustability, although for best performance your better off not slamming the car on aftermarket bolts. The more you lower the car on aftermarket bolts the more suspension travel you effectively lock out, so even the best tuned shock will run into problems bouncing off the bumpstops on cars that are slammed on factory bolts. You can definitely lower your Corvette, but unless you're willing to sacrifice some ride quality don't lower the car past the factory lowering bolts. 1/2 to 3/4 inch from stop are reasonable amounts to drop these cars on leaf springs without seeing ill effects... and with the Johnny O'Connell setup you can definitely achieve that amount of drop.

Thanks. I just want to close the gap between the tire and fender a little.
