More Wildlife at Road America
Cool vid of GT2 Vette at Road America. The wildlife in this vid is in the exact same place the Coyote ran across in front of me;

I hit a bird at Road America last September going through Turn 4. A wap on the windshield and a look out the rear mirror was feathers everywhere....

- A turtle in T6 at Roebling
- We had to red flag a session at CMP a couple of years ago because two dogs chased a deer into the wooded area between T1 - T8. The deer and dogs kept running out to the edge of the track and than back into the woods. Had to get some folks to line up and walk through the area to scare them all out.

I hit one at Pocono doing 130mph+, I thought I was a dead. It bounced off the hood and just missed the windshield...like you said feathers everywhere (and blood).

I killed a seagull on one of the local tracks (SANAIR). Pic of what was left (basically a few feathers and innards):
At Mont-Tremblant I came up on a deer AND a turtle on the track coming out of 6 (pretty fast part)... the deer was probably curious about the turtle. I chose to go the turtle's way (moves slower) and was able to avoid both animals.
At Calabogie, people keep killing turtles and snakes (the latter on purpose). Groundhogs are also a regular feature there.
We see plenty of wildlife here at Tremblant and Calabogie since they're in the middle of the woods. It's a bit scarier on a bike than in a car. People have also been known to hit wildlife on their way to the track at night.

Back in the early 80s we were racing go-karts at Summit Point Main and a guy ran over a snake going into turn 5-the snake flew into the kart behind him. The kart went off the track in turn 6 because the snake couldn't drive- true story

You know how the hoods on E90 M3s have those 2 small vents for cooling? Back in June, a buddy came off Lime Rock with a small bird jammed in one of them. Must of been sucked up from underneath somehow.
