opinions...how much could my racecar be worth?
i imagine this would be a great road race car. All it would need is a cage. Im just wondering how much i could get for it if I did sell it. Ran it at road america and it was as solid as a brick. Even Zr1's had no chance ;-)
2002 coupe - MN6 - RPM stage 3 diff with 4.10 gears
LS3 bored stroked to a 416. callies rods, dragonslayer crank, manley pistons
L92 heads ported - milled
232/246 cam 115+4 600 lift. dual patriot spring. solid valves
LS3 intake - stock injectors - stock fuel pump - stock MAF.
3 qt stand alone oil cooler
T1 sways - T1 shocks - stock leafs
forgeline LG wheels 18x10 each corner
C5R headlights with HIDs for flash to pass
textrailia clutch
heat extractor hood - aci side skirts - aci front splitter
kognition 69" full carbon race wing.
vararam intake.
full interior, perfect condition
long tube headers - cut outs, modded TI catback
motor made 480/480 on a 90* day on a mustang dyno. Hit the track to get "real" numbers. Did 10.9@129 with a 1.54 60 foot.
engine has about 10k on it and 0 hiccups. i couldnt be more happy with it.

mid 20s maybe w clean history. not really a trackday/roadcourse config, too flashy to daily drive. i'd sell aero mods, wheels, and T1 bits separately if you still have stock parts - you will end up w more $$ in the end.
or finish up suspension, get some brakes, seats and a harness setup, transaxle coolers, and track ***** it.
how the hell do you get air to the radiator/ps cooler with a splitter like this on a C5 anyway, esp. lowered?

the splitter has a vent that ramps up to the cooler. Even running at road america it never went a tick over 200*...dunno.
weight is 3230 with me in it (240lbs) and a full tank of gas.
i forgot to add, it has DBA rotors and pcf pads

Sad to say you just as well drive it as you'll never get what it's worth or anywhere what you have in it. Unless you bought it this way......

Fancy car and can't mow the grass or keep a green lawn
EDIT - If you want to part it out you can send me that Kognition wing for my eventual creep to full ST-2 status.

Not such a great RR car b/c it isn't built to the specs of any particular class. Might be able to detune the engine for ST-1, but certainly a long haul ($ and time) to get ST-1 ready. Should be regionally competitive in TTU as-is (w/some fat A6s).
It certainly is an HPDE "winner" though. Looks hot. Why didn't you get the 72" (body width, right?) wing?

Seriously if you're lucky and find the right buyer you'll see half to one third of your money back. Hang on to it and enjoy it if you can. If you MUST sell it, be prepared to take a wuupin', the used race car market (even those with history) is in the toilet./:\

The absolute best you can hope for is half of the money you have in it. In today's market maybe a third. There are a number of real Corvette race cars (complete with log books and a history) on eBay that don't get any bids. Without a log book most racers won't touch your car. Who knows what class it's legal for?
It might have more value as a modified street car than a race car right now. Keep in mind that you don't have a race car. You have a modified street Corvette.
