Default Hardbar AP T-1 kit Track day

Hardbar AP T-1 brake kit is awesome...thanks, Gary
Well I've finally got the chance to track my '07 Z06 (525 rwhp) at NHMS. We ran chicane/chicane and if you want to be fast up here you better have good brakes.
Hardbar AP T-1 brakes let me brake deep and hard, great pedal feel with absolutely no difference from my first to my last lap. No fade, and consistent brake modulation from the DS1.11 pads plus with these floating rotors and their cooling vanes in the Hardbar AP T-1 kit there seems to be less heat buildup in not only the rotors but the hub as well.

I just did a T1 double regional at Buttonwillow this weekend with the AP brake system from Hardbar and I'm very impressed. I ran the wide Ferodo pads and after 2 days of hard racing in 100+ degree weather, the rotors aren't even heat checked yet! My pedal and braking were consistent from start to finish with 2 pole position starts and 2 wins. The pads still have tons of life left. Thanks Hardbar and Essex .

Here's a qual lap on some cold A6 scrubs (they took a few turns to heat up ):

Good to hear. Redtopz, how do you like your Performancebox? Have you tried integrating its data output with video yet?

On a more related note, what kind of g forces are you recording under braking?

The p-box has been very useful and a good system for the money. Really easy to move from car to car if desired. Unfortunately, I have the pbox software on a pc laptop and all my video is done on a Mac which is 10x easier for uploading video. So no, I have not been able to integrate data with the video. I don't remember my braking g forces because I never look at them. But I do remember being surprised how low they seemed to be. Just limited by tire grip.

That's a good question. I have stock brakes in back and I already had some CL RC6 pads back there. I ran them with the ferodo ds1 pads in front and didn't have any brake bias issues. Everything felt balanced. I'm not sure if they make the ferodo pads for C5 rear calipers but if they do I guess I will run them in the future.
