Congrats to the Corvette winners at the August 6-7 SCCA Double National/Regional at Miller Motorsports in Utah.

The class winners are:
STO - J.R. Smith on both Saturday and Sunday (STO track record today)
T1 - Ken Davis on Sunday
T1 - Oli Thordarson on Saturday
ITE-O - Amedee Moran on both Saturday and Sunday

It was two good days of racing. The Utah SCCA folks were great. They were friendly, very hospitable and organized a great weekend. The BBQ was a good cap to Saturday.

I am still looking at the video of the move you made inside me on turn 7 on Sat. That was impressive. I never thought it was going to stick.

Hey J.R.:

It was great to paddock next to you. It is always good when we can revel in together in our Corvette community. The fact that Corvettes brought home class wins in every race of every class in which we had entries this weekend was a huge plus.

My in-car recorder was not working so if you have that race video posted I would love to see it. I got a great start and I was able to wedge myself into a good spot and use that to my advantage on the opening turns.

Congrats on your new track record. You drove two solid races, too.
