C5 #2684 build.
It's been a project for a few months now. I diffidently could take out another #40 or so, but I need to drive it to the track. This weight is with no driver, 1/8 tank gas and believe it or not, 335/35/17 on all 4 corners. No skinny tires here.

Isn't this really an Un-build? Anyway the door glass and regulators will drop another 30 lbs. Might as well take them out since there is no A/C meaning windows open and nothing in there to steel. The stock wheel is very heavy. Ever thought of a smaller diameter removable one? The car is overassisted and a small wheel works great. HUD gone? More weight. Delete orphan wiring good for another 20lbs or more ask Geerookie. Since you are where you are you should come SCCA racing with us.

When I get to the autocross track, I pull out the side glass. I would like to get a new steering wheel, but I like my face to much. If I get into a accident on the street, I thought it would be better to have a air bag. HUD weighs 3lbs. I took it out. I wish I could do both road racing and autocross, but I only can spend money on one. It still cost $500 for a 12 lap day. The splitter you see in not installed.

17x11.5 17x12. Tires cost more for 18's, that's all I know about that. No need for big brakes either. I have always run 335 in the rear. I figured putting 335 on the front wouldn't change the way I go around cones.

No cage. It's only a autocross car.
Thanks. I have two autocross weekends in a row starting Aug.13th. Test out my new spherical bearing setup.
Thanks! I've watched most of your vids and the courses you run are big, none of the really tight elements like our playgrounds have. I've ran at some other regions that have bigger layouts and I can see where the extra track wouldn't be as much of a penalty.
