Default Tire question

My NT-01s are done. I was looking at BFGoodrich G-Force R1 and could not find stock C5 Z06 sizes. Is that correct? What other options are there? I'd like to get something a bit stickier without going to a Hoosier.

You're going to have to go to a 40 treadwear tire to get "stickier" than an NT-01.

The Nitto 555R2 Extreme is an outstanding arrive and drive tire with really good grip, but will not be an upgrade from the NT-01.
If you want stock(ish) sizes to keep the nannies active use:
275/40/17
305/35/18

Tread wear numbers do not translate between manufacturers. One companies "100" might be equivalent to "60" with another brand. It only is comparable between tires of the same brand. Granted it will be a low number as Nitto rates the NT01 at 100.

I never run with the nannies. Since I trailer I don't really care about that aspect of arrive and drive.
Currently I'm running 315/30ZR18 and 275/40ZR17 with the NT01. I like the tire but I need something a little stickier.

Thanks for the reply.

Any other options out there? I'm really surprised the the R1s are not avail. in C5 Z06 sizes.
