Doubt it - GT3 is an ST2 car by default.

LOL Mark - maybe. My guess is it's not really a GT3 or he's wasting his time to get disqualified at the end of the race.

A 996 GT3 can run in PTA with some weight added, but I don't know why anyone would do that. My guess is it's a 996 GT3 "Clone" or someone who wasn't paying attention when he registered

Count me out of this one... I had planned to go but I need to make some adjustments to my car and I need to improve some more myself before I'm ready at that level.

I'm gonna try some new stuff on my brakes to see if that takes care of my braking issues next time out... I'm tired of getting a soft pedal after about halfway into my races

Throw some stock calipers and skinny tires on it and run PTA.

How could it run in A with weight if it's base class is SUR? If that were true we could all run in B or C with weight added.

And yeah Michael I agree with scott, de-mod and run that thing in PTA, a PTA C5Z is closer to what your car is than your car is to what those wicked fast aero C5's are!

I would have to de-mod alot to even get back to PTA with this car. I'm gonna try a couple new things with my brakes next time out and just see if that takes care of my soft pedal problem. I have about 3 more things to try before I give up on my Wilwood's.

If PTA was to pick up in the SE (you, Scott, Jason and the other guys running TTA right now) I could be convinced to run PTA.

From the entry list for ST2 it looks like they are still allowing the tube frame mazda purpose built racecars to run against production cars.

Isn't that what STR2 is for?

I'm heading down to ACS (Cal Speedway) this weekend to race those fast SoCal ST2 cars. The other guy who will be there is John G. in his ST2 porsche. I think he qualified pole last year in nationals but lost his motor during the race. I think Oli might be racing as well.
