Opinions on HPDE wheels
Looking to get a set of wheels to mount some 18" road race scrubs on for HPDE (probably 3 or 4 events per year). Unfortunately my 02 z06 didn't come with stock wheels, repro c6z06 18/19's. Looking to run all 18 by 10.5 if I can for ease of rotation. I know the rear stockers are the best bet but not having luck finding any for a reasonable cost. So, I am looking at another set of repro c6z06 18x10.5's, but debating about the additonal weight versus spending an additional $400 or so and getting a set of lightweight TSW Nurburgring or Interlagos (may have to go 18x9 in front due to offset). Or should I keep scouring for some speedline or alcoa rears? Opinions, thoughts?

I'm not sure what you want to spend, but have you contacted House of Wheels about OEM C5Z06 rear wheels? They might have some.

For what you are doing the increased weight will not make a difference. You are not racing against anybody during HPDEs so there is no need to spend the money for what results in essentially a minimal gain if you were actually racing for position.

You really can't go wrong with either option. I personally use the Speedline 18x10.5 front and back for track use. This combo gives you enough clearance for a big brake set up as well. I agree that the rears alone are hard to come by. I bought a set and sold the fronts.
I also have a set of the Nurburgrings as well. I have nothing but great things to say about these wheels. The best all around buy for a high quality, attractive wheel for C5 IMO.

If you are going to buy new try to get 11" wide rears.

The Enkei NT03+M is an outstanding wheel that is often overlooked. I ran 18x10.5's at all four corners on my C5Z, with 305 Hoosier slick scrubs. They are very light (21 lbs.) and strong. You can find them for $1200-$1300 per set online.
They had a lot of brake clearance, and didn't need a spacer to clear a 14" disc and six piston StopTech caliper.
Many, many people with imports run Enkei wheels, and they have even supplied Formula one teams over the years (including Mclaren).
I sold mine used on this forum about a year ago.
Just be careful on the offsets. The ones I had were +64mm, and I'm not sure if they are still sold in that offset.
If they aren't making these in 18x10.5's check some of Enkei's other models. They tend to be a good value for the money.

The availability and pricing kind of jump around.
You should be able to buy 4 OEM rears from places like House of Wheels. I bought some a few years ago for $800 a set.
