Default Pfadt adj shocks VS Koni singles

I am setting up my car to run in SCCA solo II in the SSM class. I need to do shocks, whats a better choice the Koni singles or the Pfadt inverted adj shocks.
the car is a 2002 Z06 with stock sways. wheels are 17x11.5 f and 17x12.5 rear with 315f and 335 rear hoosier A6 tires. the car has a built LS3 motor.
As it runs now I am getting a bunch more body roll than a Z06 that is all stock running in SS.

Koni Singles

They work very well for autocross.

Shocks are not primarily used to control body roll. They will to a certain extent if you make them stiff enough, but then you are probably compromising their primary reason, dampening.

I am not sure why your car rolls more than a stock set up car, probably the bigger rim/tire combo = more grip=more roll.

Why would you not upgrade the bars?

I am thinking of doing the bars now, I am unsure on how big to go. I was told the T-1 bars are way too big for autox.

Personally, I like them, but there are other opinions.

While there are alot of people using the Pfadt shocks from what I've heard there's not the pool of info on what settings work best for autocross on them vs. the Konis.

One person I asked ( when asking the same question you are ) stated that very thing. The Pfadts are supposed to be a little easier to access to adjust when the car is on the ground as well.

For the $ I'd be buying the Konis ( will be doing so during the off-season this winter ).

A little easier to adjust is an understatement. The 3013's are all but impossible to adjust between autox runs, unless you are in a huge run group & are getting a 10 min or more wait between runs.

How do I know, I owned & used both.

Both of these shocks have good & weak points.

Yeah, that's how another local guy kinda put it about his Konis as well.

When I bought Koni shocks, one of adjusters was already broken. I sent them back. Went with Pfadt shocks and used them for a couple of years. I thought they were pretty good.
