So we were on the cool down lap had just taken the Checkered flag and over the intercom the Student says, who mind you is doing very well on his first trip to the track "why is that guy selling pool floater things" Ya know those tubes your kids hang on to in the pool ?? A guy is selling therm by that race truck I'll think I go get my kids some" You want one? I chucked a bit and said .... oh no that is roll bar padding but can understand how it looks like the pool floater toys :-) He responded Oh I think i feel silly now ... Another chuckle and I said nope Since that is all the way in the corner you had to look up and forward to see them ... Just like I been asking ya to do out here :-)

Its pretty bad when you hear this all day 1, but the last session of day 2

This driver was absolutely serious. I hesitated at first to see just how far the driver would go without instruction. I honestly believe we would have gone off the track if I had not shouted BRAKE......TURN.........(gas).......BRAK E.......TURN.......(gas). I was talking faster than a disclaimer statement at the end of a radio spot.
